I want what I write to be associated with my real name. I also want to be able to make money. A decent amount of it.

He made one great play his whole career, an amazing catch in the Super Bowl. Only had four tds, never even surpassed 1,000 yards his ENTIRE career a six year span. It's a surprise to me they chose this lop as their latest homophobic spokesperson. Guess he needed the work since he couldn't even cut it in the NFL last year.

As much as I love an little anonymity in some places, June - in others I'm all for the notion of some universal web ID. I would just prefer it not be necessary. If someone tries to friend me on Facebook or any where else and doesn't have real pics of themselves I always get a not great feeling. I just don't see the reason for it. If you're going to be on the web in a social manner you should be prepared to be social. If you're not, then just don't be there.

Webthenticity(c) I've been online for about 16 years now and I cannot tell you how many horror stories I've heard from women who have developed some kind of close attachment to someone they thought was another woman, only to find out they were a man pretending to be a woman...or disabled or mega-rich, or single, or (insert just about anything they're not).

Something similar can happen in online communities/forums. Most people are there to connect authentically with others and have discussions, however there is a small sub-class of folks who are extremely secretive and never want to meet up with people in their local areas for various "Security" reasons that seem implausible. I don't necessarily peg them as men, but they do ring a lot of warning bells for me and generally, after a few months, they will prove themselves to be Drama Mongers or players who are only interested in creating strife and causing a lot of turmoil. For them, it (The Internet) is some kind of sick, twisted game where they rack up Troll Points for getting people upset or breaking hearts.

As for the men pretending to be women? All they're doing is exerting their privilege and their prick into places they don't belong. They aren't "Feminists" or "Heroes" for trying to get the word out, they are actively oppressing women by their actions. If they want to help, they can get their checkbooks out and send a donation. Fuckers.
