I’m a real live lesbian, though I prefer dyke or queer, and I’ve been out for roughly 20 years, depending on when you consider someone to be out.
Born on the north side of Chicago in 1970 I watched Andersonville evolve from a Nordic enclave, to a middle-eastern outpost and then on to a lesbian utopia before succumbing to yuppies in the 90s. After a short stint in Lincoln Square I headed for the browner pastures of New Mexico where I spent six very hot and dry years trying to like green chile. I returned to my roots briefly before heading to Boston before figuring out that Boston is a great place to visit, but I didn’t want to live there.
Now I’m living the good life in Denver. When I’m not working I can be found rambling around my 100+ year old home and planning vacations to far off destinations.
